Knee pain is a common issue. According to the Cleveland Clinic, 18 million people seek medical care for knee pain each year. Knee pain can be a result of overuse, osteoarthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, meniscus tears, or sprained knee ligaments. Dealing with knee pain after a workout or activity can be very distressing. Not only can knee pain limit an individual’s function and mobility it can impair one’s quality of life.
